The New York Society of Etchers presented its 15th Anniversary Exhibition of Intaglio Prints by artists living and working in the New York Tri-state area during the Autumn of 2015 during New York's Print Week.

Ms. Roberta Waddell, Curator of Prints Emeritus
New York Public Library, served as Juror.

The New York Society of Etchers was conceived by Stephen A. Fredericks during the spring of 1998 while enrolled full-time in Michael Pelletierri's evening class at the Art Student's League of New York. After months of research, and drafting of a Mission Statement for the society, it was founded by etchers Stephen A. Fredericks, Thomas White and Andy P. Hoogenboom, with Anne-Rose van den Bossche, Esq. as Counsel and Secretary.

Not-for-Profit status was granted by the IRS over the summer of 1999, and plans for the Society's first formal exhibition in September 2000 were solidified.

On this occasion we invite you to review our exhibitions throughout the years.
